There are many causes for this condition. And, yes it does have a crank sensor.
1) Is the injector pulse present?
2) Is the VATS chip and module intact?
3) MAF or MAP sensor out of range?
4) possible fuel problems, though you say there is pressure at the test port. But how much pressure?

Recommend you at least start by querying the PCM for codes. It is a good and logical place to begin the DIAGNOSTICS.

Go Here------>

http://autorepair.about.com/cs/troubleshooting/l/bl_dtcs_14a.htm

...and scroll down below the descriptions for the procedure to retrieve the diagnostic trouble codes. With the list in hand, check the description, then focus on the circuit indicated.
NOTE---->Do NOT assume that if you get a code that indicated a particular circuit that the specific component is at fault. The WHOLE circuit should be addressed logically, and locating the fault is by process of elimination. If you merely go throwing parts at the car, you can sent LOADS of money and still not repair the no-start.

Good Luck

when you say cranks but wont start .. i assume you mean the starter will turn over the fly wheel but wont hit? ... in that case make sure the fuel isnt old ... then check and make sure it is fuel injection or not ... if so .. might be that ... also check the fuel pump ... make sure wireing harness to spark plugs and the plugs are clean and in good condition ... thats about all i know ... if still wont work .. might have to own-up and take it to a mechanic ...

My Dad was working on a girls Camaro and it had the same problem (he is a mechanic) and it ended up being her computer in the car took a crap, so he had to get a new one for it. And it worked fine after that...

Hope this helps some

the only thing i can think of is vats. the computer is cutting if off. eighther that or you jumped time or your timing chain is broken. those are the only things i can think of since you have fuel and spark. my bet is on the timing chain. pull the valve cover and have someone crank the engine if you dont see the rockers moving then its time for a new chain.

check your spark plugs! maybe the battery isnt good enough. also an old trick is to have someone hit it with a pole of some sort while you crank, just lightly tap it, dont use your hands obviousely!
