No, I don't think so. I've never touched myself while watching a romantic comedy. But porn ... you watch with me and we do re-enactments?

NO, not really, but a good question. Romantic comedies really aren't healthy at all to watch, and neither is Porn. Neither are real...unless you are lucky...
Both are unrealistic usually and gives you false expectations, either sexually or emotionally.
I enjoy a good romantic comedy because it's enjoyable. So I guess some men enjoy porn for the same reason. Hmmm, maybe you are right.
We are all dirrrty. :)

No. Romantic comedies are nothing but romantic, not arousing. Porn to men is arousing, not romantic. So they aren't the same things. I'm a woman and comedies are not arousing at all. Want me aroused? Give me some porn (along with my guy and it could get very interesting).

Well, I like romantic comedies and my life likes porn. Opposites attract!
In my very popular movie and stage experience with women, YES! Since I enjoy that genre, my wifes' friends want me to escort them to these kind of movies and shows that their BF or DH won't. She usually sets me up with them - all in the name of friendship and we have a ball - all platonic of course - I only have eyes for my DW! When I was single, I never sat at home on the weekends, I always had dates! Men, take my cue, do what the ladies like and maybe they will do what you like - get my meaning...

I do think there is such a thing as "emotional pornography," just as there is sexual pornography. Hell, there's even "action porn." (That's every dumbass Vin Diesel movie ever made, for instance.) All can be cheap, obvious and completely unrealistic.
Let's split the difference and have books and movies where the guy and the girl read sonnets to each other while performing various sex acts.

I'm not a fan of them.
What is it with men and porn? Wouldn't you rather do it than watch it? I would.
