any way with out sending it to sony to get fixed i already done that once it was to expensive.

try going to this website, mine has been doing that alot too, i am going to see if i can just fix it myself- if not i guess a new one is in my future

Ours does that sometimes. It appears to just be a temporary glitch. My husband and I usually just keep turning the system on and off and/or restarting until it fixes itself (you may also need to take the game out and put it back in). If this still doesn't work, just turn it off and wait a while. Hopefully the situation will resolve itself sooner rather than later!

well if the game has a specific color on the back of the disk such as blue and dosent play it its the laser
