Its not that men have more sexual urges than women, its that more women than men have figured out that its a form of currency in a relationship.
"If you want more sex, then how about you be more romantic or help out more so I'm not so tired from doing everything."
This is a form bartering for services "you do this for me and I'll do this for you".
The more things the seller can get for sex the more value sex has. If the seller reframes from having sex, the demand for sex is artificially increased (because sex is now even more rare) and thus the seller can place a higher value on sex to which the buyer must pay - you have to work harder for it (more romance, more fancy dinners, more flowers... etc).
If the buyer does not question the price then everything will be in the favor of the seller. However, if the buyer realizes that the price has been artificially increased they can refuse to make any and all payments. Depending on how much they were doing this can be devastating to the seller, because then their true dependency on the buyer comes into play. The seller is then forced to perform all the tasks that had become dependent on the buyer for. However, this is rarity since when it comes to sex men are usually stupid and thus just believe that women have a lower sexual urges than men.

I think it has a lot to do with the difference in how the two are raised. Men have been taught to express those urges, where women to surpress.

Since that is the case, men never learned what it is to truly please their partner, only please themselves. As we grow as a society and are willing to allow women to express themselves without fear will those urges show.

It is very present in the younger generation of women. They have more partners and more sexual experience. Thus, they know what they want and are not afraid to tell you.

It is all a part of nature. Men have a natural desire to procreate, or spread their seed. In today's world, men do not have sex to procreate, but that natural desire is still there. Women, on the other hand, are made up of a different body chemistry. They are "in the mood" the most during ovulation. This is nature's way of telling the female gender that this is a good time to conceive a child. Women tend to have less desire when they are not ovulating. For men, we are always ready to create a child.

I do not think that this is true. Women are just more emotion oriented and changes there can make a difference as to whether they want to make love or not. Also, once a woman reaches about the age of 40, she is less worried about getting pregnant and knows her body better, so sex is better. She is more likely to ask for what she wants and expect to be pleased. A lot of younger women make love because they want to be loved, not necessarily because they enjoy it. You just have to find a good match between your natural sex drive and your partner's, and you need to remember that women need that emotional reason most of the time. It's usually not just lust for them, as it is for men.

That's not necessarily true. It depends on the man and the age of the man. I'm seven years younger than my husband, but have the greater sex drive. If you're a young man, say 18 to 25, you're at your peak. For women, we peak in our middle thirties and it's a very slow coast before our drive decreases.

=*( Oh I hear ya and it's not always that great. Men are made to "spread" that blood line. Luckily, we live a somewhat civilized world where they don't have to hit you over the head and do you cave man style ^_^. I'm sure they would if they could ..lol..

It is called biology. They cover it in school but never really give you any good answers. The biological imperitive of the male of the species is to continue their genes at all cost and in the highest number possible. Men can have sex with one woman a couple of times in a day. But if he is presented with numbers of different women he can have sex several times. Its the way men are.

That's a lie, a myth started by men who want to make women feel bad about themselves for wanting sex. There are all sorts of names used to label women who desire sex, who want it and who initiate it. And not one of them are very nice. It's all about fearful men doing whatever they can to control women.

As for me, there's no bigger turn on in the world than when my girlfriend gets that hungry look in her eye. I'm more than happy to let her have her way.
