I suspect that we would be able to give birth effortlessly, chatting with the doctor's and cracking jokes every step of the way about it being "not as bad as the curry I had the night before", and be in the pub 20 minutes later...

I concur entirely, except that I think you are underselling us a little. Personally, I doubt I would even bother going to the hospital for the birth. I would probably just nip to the toilets for a minute or so, then come back in time for the next round of darts.

I think if men could fall pregnant, women would be at the pub, leaving us pregnant continuously. We'd be the sad, weak gits we can now pretend we're not. Sorry..

Very funny. Have you ever had kidney stones? I've heard them compared to childbirth. They REALLY suck. I've done both and I can tell you for sure childbirth is much worse. Some men might be able to do it, but not any better that women do.
