Experience mate, simple as that and that's why Liverpool will be up in the top three for years to come. And that's not from a Liverpools supporter either./

I think that Benitez is a fantastic manager, i really respect this guy, because he doesen't plan for the short term but the long term process, he has a cracking an for a player, ie Xavi Alonso, Momo Sissoko, Daniel Agger, Dirk Kuyt.

As a Chelsea fan, i shouldn't really be saying this, lol.

He has worked with some of the biggest clubs in the world, Real Madrid, Valencia.

I think that he is the best tactian in the premiership, if he was just to settle with a certain team, formation and formula then Liverpool could do better, i don't expect them to win the league this season, because i think Benitez is bullding for next season to mount a serious assult on the title.

He doesn't criticise his players publicly
He isn't afraid to stick to his own methods in the face of press criticism (zonal marking, squad rotation)
He doesn't resort to blaming referees or opposition tactics when his team struggle
He stays calm (I've never seen him celebrate a goal during a match)
This all combines to give the impression of an honest, level-headed man who can be trusted by his players and thus earns loyalty, respect and a desire to perform to their best ability.

Because he never tries to be a star and let the players play, but he is the boss in the team.

Because he seems to treat all his Players the same without prejudice, if he has a problem he does not let it fester, he will sort it at once. Which means the Players respect him because he respects them.
