I just read a story about an abortion clinic that performs abortions on children as young as ten. By definition, if a 10 year old is pregnant than a rape has occurred. The clinic's policy is not to inform law authorities and they have actively resisted any efforts by local authorities to gain access to even "censored" portions of their records that don't show patient info.

Why would any decent human allow the rapists of children to walk away when they have the ability to bring them to the attention of police ?

Am I missing something ?

Dan - The link was left blank by choice. Don't presume to lecture anothers motivations without evidence. I am under no obligation to provide you with "source links". Doing your own research allows you to form your own opinion, not that of the author of the single source provided in a link.

Doctors are bound by both the law, their ethical oath, and their own moral compass. Doctors in this story are placing the privacy of their patient before the interests of the people. The courts will sort it out.

Yes, you are missing any citation for your source, and you are missing any critical examination of these 'facts'. Did you just hear them on the radio, or see them on a web page? You need to develop critical thinking, and ensure you have two independent sources for this kind of story.

All medical professionals are bound first by the law. No-one is above that (not even the President). Where not in conflict with law, then they must follow their ethical code.

You are missing that what you call "rape" isn't always the case. A ten year old having sex with another minor is not rape. A ten year old having sex with an adult is rape. There is a difference.
