Almost anything by John Hughes (The Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, Wierd Science, Ferris Bueller's Day Off) or Savage Steve Holland (Better Off Dead, One Crazy Summer.)

I agree completely! The Breakfast Club is the ultimate 80's flick... however, Better Off Dead comes in a close second "I want my two dollars!"

Well, there are a bunch of good movies from the 80's.
St. Elmo's Fire
Pretty in Pink,
Back to the Future
Footloose
Revenge of the Nerds
I think my first fave was Footloose. Then Breakfast Club, then St. Elmo's Fire.
