Ignore the above post.
It does not take years of dancing experience, I have seen girls with two left feet get on the stage and make great money. Men could careless if you are an experienced dancer, as long as they see some skin.

You won't be overworked. Shifts are small, 3 or 4 hours, day or night, and you probably won't work every day (you may only work once or twice a week starting--depends on the # of dancers). Most strip clubs do not allow unescorted women (meaning not attending with a man) in unless it is a LESBIAN stip club. And underpaid? That's a joke!

No club expects a beginner to be an acrobatic pole dancer. In fact, I know women who have danced for years that can barely climb the pole...hasn't affected their pay. As long as you can prance around a pole you'll do fine.

As for cons? You need thick skin to tolerate the insults from intoxicated men and catty dancers. Obsessive men...but hey, that's what bouncers are for. If you're confident and your fiancee supports the idea, go for it! If you have any questions, email me and I can try to help :)

stripper sounds awful...are you stripping or exotic dancing. there is a difference...It's dangerous. He may trust you but do you trust all of the people there to see you. I think you could find a part time job as a waitress and make great tips, or even work in a retail store for extra cash. I don't think you need to become a stripper per se to gain extra cash. Good luck, i would never have done it when I was 20, nor would I ever want my children to do so. But to each their own.

Pros cash
Cons drugs and guys that your fiance can't trust.

Just keep your head on and don't let the job affect you personally and you will be fine. But I suggest not doing it until you are older because, no matter who you are or how strong you think you are, you are susceptible to falling into the life. I've seen it first hand. You can always waitress or bartend. Much better chance of keeping your head on straight.

Stripping doesn't take years to acquire the skills and flexibility, trust me. If it's really something that you are considering just remember that it is just a job, do your job go home take a shower and tell your man how much you love him, but remember that once you tasted the easy money it will be difficult to quit.

First off: unless youve been dancing (ballet, street dance, anything) since you were four, stripping is pretty much out of the question. It takes years to become flexible enough to be a pro dancer, and from the sounds of it, you don't want to commit years to your career.

You'll be under paid, over worked, and leered and perved off by men and women (yes, that means lesbians - sure you're comfortable with that?). You'll have to work unsociable hours, and work your hardest.

A typical poledancing course for beginners lasts around two years, and that's only the basics. If youre still sure, or are already trained, feel free.

I think it's a problem of conscience and...there are better possibilities to make extra money.

You could die! Your fiance may leave you and never trust you again.

You could be molested. You could be robbed, as they follow you home!!!

You could be protected by a PIMP, who then owns you.

Have you tried WAWA.
