I saw Mermaid yesturday. Not Mermaids, but Mermaid. It was good. It was based on a true story.

I have heard similar stories. One is in the Guniess Book of World Records because these girls with the same name and birthdate and a list of other things found each other.

ADDED:

Oh no,.. no wait. There was another movie I saw after that I think.

It had Candece from Full House (the oldest Sister) and Savage from The Wonder Years (the main character).

I don't remember the name. He was a Wrestler and everyone was going like " Oh, he's hot" and actting like he was this sexy mascular athelete. I wanted to laugh when they would do that.

He started dateing the character Candece was playing. But he become controling and abusive with her.

They wee teenagers at the time and they were supposed to be like 17 or something. I don't think they fit the parts well,.. but who knows.

The moral is.... in reality PEOPLE SUCK. They don't do anything when someone is beating up on someone weaker. Even though they could protect them or get them help. And with my life to compare to that Moral,.. IT'S TRUE. Humans suck and unrelieable.
Oh ya the other Moral was, don't beat up girls/women.

So I didn't like the cast but the story line held true to reality and I think it was based on a true story.

The last new movie I saw? I think it may have been John Tucker Must Die, which I didn't like because I think it is a dumb teenage movie. I think we saw that because that's either all the theater was showing, or maybe my younger sister wanted to. The last movie I saw, however, before getting on the computer, was Christmas with the Kranks, left on because my sister fell asleep. And I hated that one too. Jamie Lee Curtis's character was overreacting to the neighbors wanting Frosty. She should have had the guts to say, "We are skipping Christmas this year, and if you don't like it..." And fill in the blanks from there.

The movie I saw most recently was The Departed. I liked it a lot--still no Goodfellas (one of my all time favorites) but more like a traditional Scorcese movie than his last few. Excellent suspense, fascinating characters, great acting but a ton of cussing and violence--if those turn you off then I'd say skip it, but otherwise an excellent flick.

I saw Santa Claus 3. I didn't want to. My friend picked the movie because I picked last time. When she told me she wanted to see Santa Claus 3, I couldn't believe she was for real. But, it turned out to be a really good movie. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.

I just saw "The Departed" on Friday and it was excellent! It had an awesome twist at the end... it was 2 and 1/2 hours long though so I suggest going to the bathroom before you sit down in the theater!

P.S. Lyn729 - WHY would you tell them that??? Don't ruin it for people!

hey bud -

the last movie i saw was Mulholland drive, it was excellent:

After a brutal car accident in Los Angeles, California, Rita (Laura Elena Herring) is the sole survivor but suffers mass amnesia. Wandering into a strangers apartment downtown, her story strangely intertwines with Betty Elms (Naomi Watts), a perky young woman in search of stardom. However, Betty is intrigued by Rita's situation and is willing to put aside her dreams to pursue this mystery. The two women soon discover that nothing is as it seems in the city of dreams.
