i've never gotten any tattoos or piercings(not even in the ears), but i heard that they hurt like hell.
maybe you could get a snakebite on your lips. or just one on the side. but don't get one in the middle... one bad thing for this piercing is gum erosion.. so beware.
and for tattoo ideas:

Be careful whereever you go. Make sure the place is very clean. Be aware that there are nerves in your face and if you are pierced in the wrong place when opting for your lip, you could paralyse your face. If going for your tongue it will swell and you wont be able to eat or talk properly for at least a week.
I can't tell you if your nose will hurt but you could try your navel. Make sure you keep them clean though.
Think really carefully before having a tattoo although it is not that painfull it is for life.. Will it look as good when you are old and wrinkly. I don't know where you live but here in the UK you have to be 18. Again make sure it is a reputable place that you go to and sit down and discuss exactly what you want.
Congratulations on the exam results.

they hurt. the nose has a lot of nerves in it, and i've seen a guy with tattoos and nipple piercing shed a tear for the nose. but its over in a quick second. why dont you get a cartilage piercing with the other one. when i get mine done, i wanted 3 in one side and 2 in the other, but since they are sold in pairs my roommate got the 6th one.
really tho, go to a really piercer. not clairs or something like that. those people do not need ANY training to pierce and those machines are not clean. hepatitis can live in the air for 3 days, so if the person before you got pierced and then they went right to you, you can get it. go to a real piercer, you will pay a little more, but you can be assured that everything is sterile and they are great people and fun to talk with. you can learn alot and about a lot of piercings you've never heard of.
if you're up for pain, you can get your conch pierced too, its the center of your ear. my bf has one on one side, and a double conch on the other, and the ring goes vertically in the ear. its kinda hard to explain, but its really cool looking and he gets compliments on it all the time.
and if you go to get a tattoo, a lot of them do piercings too, and you can have a consultation with the tattoo artist when you get your nose done and work on the design you want and you will probably not get charged as much.

My mom did my nose when i was 13 with a sewing needle and yes it hurt but probably because she did it at home and I hate ice so I didn't numb it properly. And the only other thing your mom will probably go for is the cartilage of your ear that people get pierced by your ear drum (i don't know what they call it) or the top of your ear with a barbell. Don't know about tattoos I'm still thinking about what i want.

Body mods, i.e. piercing and tatoos etc.. all hurt. It depends on your personal pain tolerance as to how much they hurt.
I have my nose and upper cartilege on both ears done. There's nothing to worry about as far as infection as long as you take care of them, they'll heal properly.
The nose hurt for a few minutes and it made my eyes water a bit. But I've heard it does that to everyone. It was sore for the rest of the day, but by the next day it was fine. My ears, however, were very sore for about a week. If you get those done, I'd highly reccomend putting loops in because they are more comfortable to sleep in and allow for more swelling. (And they will swell.)
I'm personally thinking of getting my belly button done next. I've hard it's a little less painful than the cartilege piercings.

I would say go for it, but DO NOT go to a parlor that has a buy one get one free day, that sounds cheap to me and you will probably not get a good piercer to do it. Some parlors that run "specials" do so to get the piercer more experience. They may pierce it wrong and it could get infected or you may not like the way it looks.
It hurts for a split second, it will be sore for a few days.
Tattoos may or may not hurt, it depends on the following:
1.) size of the tattoo
2.) place where you are putting the tattoo
3.) your tolerance of pain
4) how good your tattooist is, if he sucks and has to go over spots more than usual, it will hurt.

Piercing doesn't hurt, except for a second....but tattoo's WOW AGONY. It feels like someone is cutting you with a rusty scalpal for an hour or two, sometimes more depending on how big of one your getting. Personally, I relished the pain, and love my tat's.. but a lot of people can't take it. Besides, you have 2 years.... you can't get a tat till your 18

I checked out your snapshot and that i consider both of them could be adorable :) But from private enjoy i could say opt for the nostril. Then afterward when you wish your eyebrow pierced get it too.
