I've never moved to change schools for my children, but I have based where I moved to on the schools for my children. If I could live 10 blocks to the east making my drive to work further, but my children could be in a better school district ... then I moved to a house that was 10 blocks east.

Yes, in order to go to a better school. In my state you can go to out of district schools and there are good schools in districts that have an aging population, so I applaud my state for that.

However, I was living in a rural area and I had to move to a suburban area in order to be closer to the good schools.

It has made all the difference in the world as my son has better friends and more opportunities for success.
