I like India.Arie. Also, Anthony Hamilton, Musiq Soulchild, Erykah Badu and Jill Scott are good. I heard a couple of songs by newcomer Leela James that I kind of liked. The pickings seem kinda slim these days, at least in the commercial artist arena. You might want to check out some indie soul artists as well.
