To purchase any of these homes, you do need to go through a Realtor who is registered to sell them. The companies that sell lists simply compile lists of these homes (which are listed in the MLS also), and sell them to people.

Like any other product or service, if you want the good stuff you'll have to pay. Sure, there are free ones but you'll only find half the listings other sites provide.

what I would do is take advantage of the 7-day free trial that some services provide.

Look up the website for your local newspaper and search the legal notices.

The county has the most current info on foreclosures.....Some have their records online....Call your county and see if you can access them online....Best of luck
