How long does an interview generally last?

It generally depends on the company and/or the individuals doing the interviewing. I've had interviews last as long as over an hour, or as little as ten minutes. Some people say the longer the interview, the more likely you are to be hired (because they want to find out more information about you), but in my personal experience this isn't always true. So don't feel bad if yours doesn't seem very long; some employers just like to cut to the chase and ask the most important questions. Good luck!

The basic interview process can last anywhere from a few minutes to several weeks depending on the company performing the interview, the interviewee, and the job parameters.
