For $1800 out the door, tax and shipping included. I've looked around on Gateways, HP's, retail stores and even NewEgg.com. To me, a noob when it comes to notebooks, this seems like a good deal. Am I getting a good deal here? I am serious into games, and would also like to integrate this into my home theatre (to give you an idea of how I intend to use it). Should I consider any other hardware, etc?

Thanks

Hmm.. It looks good, expecially if you want to do many things with it. You should ask if they offer a 7200RPM hard drive instead of a 5400RPM other then that the specs seemed to be fine.

About the 2 year warntee worth the investment. Computers somehow tend to break after the first year. Protect your investment. 3 years they charge way to much.
