Bush is loyal to Rumsfeld, Bush's view is that he trusted Don in the front without knowing what we were getting into and he trusts Rumsfeld will walk us through the best he can even though things aren't the best.

What can we hope for?
Anyone competent would say Iraq and Afghanistan are screwed up and change course. That would show Bush and Rummy as the fools they are so that isn't going to happen.
Why would we care if a Tony Snow type could step in and continue the same failed policy with new rhetoric? That would just be more of the same.

Bush is a puppet and his puppet masters will not allow him to get rid of Donald Rumsfeld.
Rumsfeld has been in on this action since the 70's and hes not leavin now.
Besides Rumsfeld would probably give him a wedgie or something.

Brothers in sin. They cannot rid themselves of each other. Although Rumsfeld may want to rid himself of Bush ? Only God knows the answer to all the questions concerning American politics but hopefully you'll get rid of these people yourselves. They have brought shame on your country as have our leaders.

Another person believing in sound bites and media hype. Rumsfeld will go down in history as a great strategist, and leader, who took the military into the 21st century. GW will also be heralded as one of our greatest Presidents, Along with Lincoln, Roosevelt, Jefferson, and Washington. I won't be surprised if they add him to Mt. Rushmore.
Who would you put up as a better candidate for Secretary of Defense? Wesley Clark? Madeline Albreight was a disgrace.
