It's quite difficult if not impossible to find this information. Reverse telephone online doesn't include cell phones. And the sites that last year you could use to pay to find out such information have been closed down.
You should report it to the cell phone provider service and find out what options they have. Some providers will block the number for a small fee.

You can only find out if you know someone who's a bit dodgy and works for the Police or the phone company.
I'd call them from another line - or withhold your number.
Or check with your mates - someone's bound to have the number stored in their phone.
Good luck finding your mystery texter.

Hi there...
Actually, many wireless services providers can block numbers from sending text messages to you. I recommend you call customer service for your company and ask if they support that feature.
Hope this helps!

reverse phone number search compiles hundreds of millions of phone book records to help locate the owner's name, location, time zone, email and other public information.
Use a reverse phone lookup to:
Get the identity of an unknown caller.
Identify an area code.
Recall the name of a person whose number you wrote down.
Identify an unfamiliar phone number that shows up on your bill.

fill in as many direct mailing questionnaires with thier mobile number,. It won't stop them texting you but you might feel better.
The police could trace the phone via the bills/payg top-ups but they would need a court order.

Text them back the same text message they just sent you. They will soon realise how annoying it is and stop!
