I'm going to assume, maybe incorrectly, that if he works for an urban record label, then he is frequenting black strip clubs. Black strip clubs these days have changed A LOT in the past five years with the advent of "the strip club song". The Ying Yang Twins, Lil Jon, David Banner, Pharrell, Nelly, Ludacris, Bubba Sparx and on and on, all make songs specifically for the strip clubs. Because of this, black strip clubs have become less about the fantasy and more about the party. This is the reason many more women frequent these clubs as well. It could be completely legitimate that he is networking and promoting.

I had a brother who once worked for the undercover gang suppression unit and it required him to network the strip clubs and place himself covertly among that crowd. It didn't last long and it was completely work affiliated. Strip clubs often have people of all walks of life that go there. However, keep this in mind. Women are allowed to go as well. Although, I have never enjoyed that sort of thing I would never be comfortable with my husband going there. If it is for business however, he can simply arrange for his perspective associates to be taken care of ahead of time. He can stop buy and arrange a tab with the manager.
How long has he been attending these clubs and exactly who and how many connections has he actually made? As for rap videos those strippers usually go to the auditions anyway. It may be an excuse to just go to club. Nothing prevents you from showing up at any club your mate does and you can observe for yourself what he is doing.

Well,if he's working for a rap record label, he's probably in the strip clubs looking for "video girls". Some video girls are productive and get hired because they're already famous (like Run DMC's daughter, Vida Guerra, models etc) but... the ones they pick up in strip clubs are usually the loose women willing to do anything and I mean anything (check out the book Video Vixen) to be attached to a label or in a video.
It could very well be true but you should have known about this before the marriage.

Listen, to be honest and I am a woman yes he can make connections there because Houston has some the Hottest Strip clubs (I was dating the this guy who is well known in Houston for the music he had done and he took me to one of the Hottest Strip Clubs just because it was the place to be...) So yea he can surely be going for the connections

But the bad part he is around strippers and girls who hang with strippers. They are not all bad but if your guy is attractive and acts like he has some money. The girls are going to flock to him like Bees to a Hive.

You know your husband it comes down to trust, why don't you go with him on one of his Connnection Trips so he can ease your mind if he says NO WAY baby beware...

If you want you can email me and tell me the names of the clubs I will tell you what goes on and how they are..

I just recently moved from Houston a couple months ago...

Well personally I don't know about it being true or not. I do know that my husband went once while we were married and he said that his brother (who was also married at the time) Had a lap dance. Well long story short my husband came home told me what they had done and apologized. He said strip clubs to him were about as close as you can come to having a quick quickie in a closet. He hasn't been back since and his brother...well he is divorced now. If your hubby is making connections at those joints...well it's probably not the type of connections that your thinking about. And if he loved you he wouldn't go in the first place.

It's a guy thing, but don't worry ..you can only reap the benefits when he comes home all horny and frisky. You could also do a strip tease for him when he gets home. But unless he's selling G-strings, as far as records go..a strip club only has DJ's not new bands or rap groups. He just doesn't want you to be hurt or get mad. I see no reason to get mad do you? Answer my question after doing him, after he gets home from the strip club and see how you feel about it. ;D

Going to strip clubs to make a connection?? He's making a connection alright. But I doubt it is only a business connection.

Is your husband married but living single? I wonder what he would think if you told him you were going to a bar where naked men danced - so you could make friends and perhaps seal a deal. Truth is, I'm not that familiar with the record industry and how one does business in it. But it is definitely uncomfortable for you knowing he is there night after night. Does he care? Are you invited to hang out with him? Perhaps you would like to see for yourself. Drinking, naked women, business connections....hmmmm sounds like a recipe for disaster. What does your heart tell you? Really?

as someone who use to work in strip clubs, i will tell you it's totally legit. Business men came in A LOT, one, to meet and greet, make connections and socialize, two, to show they have money. money = power to them. I've seen everything from typical business men, to rappers, to basketball stars, and so on. Don't let it bother you too much, it really is just something these guys do... it's part of the business. (and trust, the girls are not sleeping with them or anything like that)
