Yes it can! If you have a leaking radiator or water pump that is putting coolant onto the belts, the belt running the alternator will slip and won't let it keep the battery charged up enough. Have it checked out right away. You could just have two different problems, but the one can cause the other. I hope this is some help to you. Good Luck!!!

I dont think so. they are two different systems. antifreeze is for heating, and the battery is to help start the car. the car its self produces enough electricity to run antifreeze. good luck

I doubt it.
Take your car to Auto Zone/Checker/NAPA and have them check the battery. Sounds like either your battery is bad or not charging. If not charging, then the alternator could be bad.
