Yes you can. The slot for the GBA games is located on the bottom of the DS. On the DS lite there is some kind of cap or lid that keeps the opening clean but you can take that out to put in a GBA game.

totally. theres 2 game slots on teh DS. the top one, which is for DS games. and the bottom slot. the bottom one accepts GBA games. however it wont play Game Boy or Game Boy Color games.
