Hey Gwen J,

They ate what they could get. Meat - Deer, Squirrel, Raccoon, etc. The Native American Indians showed the Maze, (corn), and squash. They picked berries and some roots.

The Mayflower passengers that made it to America, only half survived the first winter! Cold and starvation killed many.
