Baby acne occurs as a result of the body adjusting to hormone levels. My baby boy had very bad baby acne and also engorged and leaking breasts. Nature will take it's course and these things will go away. I only use water on my babies' skin because soaps and lotions can be very drying on their delicate skin and can bring out eczma. Ask you doc/child health nurse about it at the 6wk check if you are still worried.
Congratulations on making it through the first 2 wks!

it can be baby acne but look at it closely are the bumps close together and is the skin around them red too? like a rash maybe? if so it could be eczema which is a dry skin condition. my son at 6wks had what like pimples but then i notice one day that it looked more like a rash. i just put a lotion on it called eucerin and its a lot better so check to see if the skin feels dry or scaly and only wash ur babies face with water until he's older but when it comes down to it, the best diagnosis will come from his doctor

My daughter started getting the red pimples on her face when she was about 2 weeks as well. It is called baby acne. It is perfectly normal; you have nothing to worry about. My daughter is 7 week now and the baby acne is gone.

This is normal. Called baby acne. Wash with chemical free infant soap. Do not pick at it. It may take as long as 2-3 months to completely disappear.

Yes, it's called baby acne. My son got it around 2 weeks and I thought it would never go away. I just kept his face washed and didn't put any lotion on it. It takes a while for it to go away. I remember thinking that it was ruining my beautiful baby's face. But, it soon disappeared and all was right with the world.

this is perfectly normal just wash the face and use baby lotion unscented do not pick at these bumps as they can leave scarring you can talk to your doctor about a perscription cream if the baby acne gets to bad that is what i had to do with my son good luck

Infant acne - NORMAL. Do not try to pop them - just let them be and it will clear up in a couple of weeks.

It's alright. I had plenty of those red-like pimples when I was young. Just wash your baby's face everyday if you don't already.
