How do i make a video for an audition that will land me the spot?

I think the best advice is to be yourself. The reality TV show industry has matured in all its years of existence, and while they're certainly casting for personality and appealing (if not downright attractive) looks, they've also developed the ability to tell when an auditionee is "putting on a show." They're wary of seeing one person on the audition tape and getting a different personality when the show actually gets rolling.

So be as real as you can. If you're the type they're looking for, they'll choose you. If not, pretending to be the type isn't going to help, and neither is any fancy editing or staging. People have been cast based solely on sitting in front of a cheap camcorder and talking.
