Yes, I had to do this in college.
......and this is my problem today, so I will give it to you to answer because I am at a loss.
1. Why is my 16 year old daughter cutting/slashing/self-mutilating?
2. Why on earth are teens in 2006 doing this?
3. Why is she lying to the counselors?
4. Why does she think she can cure herself.
So in your speech, it's easy as 1,2, 3:
1. Tell them what you're going to tell them.
2. Tell them.......now is the time you get to educate them.
3. Tell them what you told them by summarizing.

With the time of year i would persuade people to vote or something you feel strongly about.
when you give ur speech ur teach will know if you care about what ur trying to persuade others to do
