Yes it was her student. They struggled and he stabbed her. He had a major crush on her.

Yes, he came on strong to her, she resisted and then he stabbed her with the ice pick. So tragic.

Yes, it was the kid. He thought she wanted to do it and when they were fighting the ice pick was stabbed into her shoulder.
