I did not vote for "W" and this is some what unrational in most thoughts, but "I feel sorry for this man". I don't like his leadership or lack there of but why all the HATE? It is not ALL from the Left most of us can forgive, what about the Right who abandon there choice 2 years ago. Polls show you are not with him.

Conservatives:

Defend Bush and his mess in Iraq

Defend sexual predators in their party.

Twist words of Democrats when they are desperate.

Are leaving their own party in droves by now.

Those who stay in the now-stale "Neo-Right" are shameless.

And immoral.

Seriously, I don't really believe any polls. Look at the polls in 2004, GW should not have one. He did, and by a wide margin. I've never been polled, and I think that the polsters choose what demographic they want answers from. Last time I was called to participate in a poll, I did not qualify. What a crock! President George W Bush may not be very articulate, and alot of people mistake that for not being very smart. Actually I believe he's very shrewd and intelligent, and I think the non polled America that voted for him believe that too. I don't believe he is always right, and I do not feel sorry for him in the least. I don't understand the vitriol you see against the President either. I think the conservative base is dissapointed, but not hateful. I think the media continuing to say that conservatives will stay home on Tuesday, are hoping that's true, but I don't believe that will be the case. Also, THE BORDER is the biggest issue, and also relates to security of our country. I think most conservatives believe he's way off base asking for a comprehensive plan, and not doing the most logical first step and building a fence across the border, and securing it!

Hi there!

I for one am still 100% behind the prez! [And I was behind Clinto too!] It's my thought that media villainizing of him for, like, every day, since he was elected, except for that tiny break around 911, has accomplished all this dislike.. aNd, we've all been cursing the war in Iraq! Yes, cursing as in hexing. I'm glad to hear of human feelings about George W! There are democrats who see the dangers of despots seeking nukes, etc (especially when they have also had documented terrorist attending events).

Anyway, it's too bad political parties have to demonize the other party to get votes! Because it increases the divide among the parties, and perhaps even the people..

Instead of listening to each other on the issues, we demonize the other's concerns, and therefor dismiss them, and there's no moderation, just the tugging from the poles after awhile..

I think I'm turning into a pessimist..
later!

GW is a middle of the road conservative. The extreme right wing dropped their support for him because he did not hold some of their ideals to be worthwhile. It's the same as the extreme left wingers of Pilosi, Dean and Kerry being out of step with the majority of the Democrats.

While I agree that all of the hate isn't all from the Left, alot of it is. The polls are down but we're not suposed to love the Pres. He does what's best for us even if we don't like it.

Well he promised us WMD's and did not deliver. His illegal immigration stance is out of touch with the conservatives. He is a puppet of the Israel lobby and rubber stamps any and everything they do. He lacks any skills at rallying foreign support and his advisors are lackies.
Otherwise we love him.

Polls? What polls? No one has polled me. I don't feel sorry for Bush at all. He is a strong man. He can take care of himself and his country. He is to be applauded, not felt sorry for.
