No, Nortons is pure garbage for many years. And continues to get worse each an every year. Nortons does not have a free additon unless you download their software from a P2P or some Russian crack house. Plus they have a system that will detect a rogue key and you will be shut down. Nortons is a purchased product not worth one cent.

Plus when you go to remove your so called "free edition", add/remove, you wil have 350 plus fragments glued to all of your files and hidden all over your system. You will play hell finding them an espeicaly trying to remove them as they cause conflict with your system.

Get yourself a free good antivirus that I used for nine years and never had one virus.

http://www.avast.com As an excellent background scanner that really catches a virus in real time and destroys before the virus can enter your system. Plus you will get frequent updates two or three times per day. All you have to do is give them your email address and they will send you your free key good for one year.

After one year you must request a new key. The corporate Avast is the same, they just make corporate pay.

Hello,

We used to refer Symantec until Microsoft came out with their own anti-virus and anti-spyware scanners. Now we refer them. Plus they are free and the best we seen so far. Check out our links page to do a free scan!
