Should there be a Blackadder film, or not? Why (not)?

It would be great to see the whole team back together again, but I don't think it will happen. They have all moved on.
If it did however I would first in the queue to see it.
Back and forth is going to be the closest you are going to get to a film.

It is possible that it would just be complete pants, and kill off any hope of a series 5.
Or it could be absolute genius..... The 'Christmas Carol' take off, for instance.... but then 'Blackadder - Back and Forth' was not too clever - far too contrived and not all that funny (apart from Blackadder decking Shakespeare!).

I was just thinking about this yesterday. I came to the conclusion that it would not be such a good idea . They stopped it the right time. Look at only fools and horses, they made a kind of film for TV (the miami one?) and it was crap. Kind of went downhill from there really. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!

Yes but from which era or would a time travelling Blacadder film be better then it could cover all 3

for def i think they should do it for the blackadder II or blackadder goes forth series, absolute genuis.

No, not even a reunion. The character was what is was, and it was great. Everyone has moved on to better things and we have the greatest Christmas Carol version to watch year after year.

I think it works better for a half hour slot.

They stopped at the best time, if they did anymore it just wouldn't be as good.
