The Titanic was going from Southamption to New York. They did not make it becausethe Titanic hit an Iceberg. The Titanic sank because the Iceberg made a hole inside the ship.
It was sad when the Titanic sank in the ocean. Many people died in this disaster.

yes they were picked up by the Cunard (British) Ship Carpathia. But the Lusitania was NOT a german ship!!!! it was a Cunard british luxury liner much like the Titanic, but slightly smaller and a lot faster, that was SUNK BY a german U-boat (submarine) in WW1!!!! it was never used by the Germans!

actually the ship was called the carpathia not the lusitania...the lusitania was a german ship that was used in ww1.
