It's a simple t-shirt and I'd like it to be a little tight-fitting, I hate loose, baggy clothes. It's from an online only store and since I won't be able to try it on (and I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it) I need a little help.

Their size chart is as follows:

XS: Chest= 29-30, Natural Waist= 23-24, Hips= 33, Inseam= 28
S: Chest= 30-32a, Waist= 25-26, Hips= 35, Inseam= 30
M: Chest= 32-34b, Waist= 27-28, Hips= 37, Inseam = 32
L: Chest= 36-38c, Waist= 30-32, Hips= 40, Inseam= 34
XL: Chest= 40-42d, Waist= 33-35, Hips= 42, Inseam= 34

And these are my measurements (note that I am not the thinnest girl around)

Chest: 36 around fullest part of breasts, 32 around ribcage. (I've never been really fitted at a store, but I usually wear 36B or 36C.

Waist: 29

Hips: 38.5

I usually wear a medium in t-shirts (adult small if its the unisex, non-fitted shirts).

Hope I've given enough information to work with, thanks :P

If you want it to be a little tight fitting then get the medium, I'm sure it will stretch. Also it says 34B, which actually would mean 36 inches around the bust. I'm thinking the large will be too big.

By the way, if you are just using your bust measurement as your bra size, that is not your true size. You really need to be measured professionally. If the measurement under your breasts is 32 inches, I would probably put you at 36A, 34B or 34C.

Your band size should be about the same as your upper ribcage measurement, which you measure above the breasts and under the armpits. If it is 34 inches, then you are most likely going to be a 34B. If it is 36 inches, then you are probably a 36A. If it is in between these two measurements, you can try either size and see what fits best. HTH : )

It sounds like you're going to be a Large in this case. You could probably fit into a Medium but it may be a tight squeeze, and don't forget that t-shirts shrink a little the first time you wash them. I have gotten burned so many times by ordering online or out of a catalog just because their size scale isn't the same as some stores I shop at. For instance, how could I be a size 2 at Armani Exchange, but I can barely fit into a Large at Forever 21? It's nuts. Just go with the Large since it seems to fit your measurements most accurately.

you should get a medium or a large. (large because your chest is 36 in. and medium because the waist measurements are closest to yours.) when you are between sizes like that, you should get the bigger size though.
