i have thise friend in my school. and im there for her. she is actually a very pretty girl, it is just that she is overweight. and now she likes this guy. and her confidence jsut sinks lower and lower.
i always tell her that she is beautiful, and that its good that she is trying to loose wait. cause she goes to do sports. is it right wat im doing? are there some tips that can make wat i say more effective? cause i dont want her to listen to these other mean girls, that tell her that she doesnt have a chance...

She has a chance, it's just she needs to have confidence in herself to get that chance. guys dont want a low self esteemed person. They do not want to have to keep telling them to look up, and cheer up.. They want someone who is confident in themselves. it's great that you tell her she is pretty, and all that. But she needs to believe it for herself. I am so sure if he's the right guy, he will like her back and all that. Guys are stupid and want miss perfect. Sometimes we aren't perfect enough for them.. God knows they aren't perfect all the time either. Tell her she has just as much chance as anyone else who likes him. Tell her to keep her confidence!!!! Good luck to her and you..

Its a hard one! Yeah what u are doin is rite. Just because she is over-weight doesnt mean she cant be beautiful and its whats on the inside that really counts. Its good that shes tryin to loose weight by doin sport, keep encouraging her....good luck!

After reading...i think tht u really care 4 ur frend....well u arent at all doin wrong in advicing her.....
yes she doin d best iin joining sports n activities...dis way she'll lose weight!!!
On d other hand she can also take a propoer diet...means she shud maintain a proper diet so as to b fit alwayz...tell her tht she shud cycle everyday n thsi way she can lose weiight very easily n fastly!!!!

its a double edged sword i mean dont make her do some thing if she is too sorry but lazy to do something just try to keep the mean girls at bay

i am overweight too...my friends tell me i am beautiful...my family...and sometimes people in my class that i dont even know. i think personally that i am a pretty girl...i wouldnt say beautiful but yeah...neways...i know how it feels cause i like this guy because of what guys want...(most of them are jacks) but we are really good friends and i love that. and i have had a guy to like me but he cared what his friends thought.
but just tell your friend to be herself. thats what i do...cause who ever falls in love with her will love her for herself. even if its not that guy that she wants. and it is great that she is trying to lose weight...its a great accomplishment that makes you feel even better about yourself. just tell her to live her life and not care what other people think...:)
