So once again this month, I discovered that I'm not pregnant. :( So, I decided to look back at the past months (I keep every month from the calendar). My hubby and I have had intercourse, the week after my period and the following week, up until I thought I was ovulating, around day 14. For some reason, we've never done it the week before my period - I'm just not in the mood then, and I didn't think I'd be ovulating so late in my cycle anyway. All my signs of ovulation occur around day 14. But is it possible for one to ovulate so late in your cycle, the week before your period? We're going to give it a try next month, see if it works! Anyone else experience this? Thanks :)

yes I ovulate very late in my cycle.. and that's when my husband and I fell pregnant .. I must have ovulated so late in my cycle because I could test positive until I was over 10 days late.. unfortunately I lost that baby to m/c and I am still Ttc.. I am now charting my ovulation and as of yet day 15 there is no sign of it ... trying using www.fertilityfriend.com to see when you are if you have no luck ..

No, because your ovulation is exactly 14 days before your next period. So if its near your period then its way past your ovulation. If your cycle is exactly 28 days then your ovulation is day 14th. If your cycle is 30 days then your ovulation is day 16. Just subtract 14 from the total number of days of your whole cycle. Your cycle starts on the first day of your period until your next period. Check your past periods and check how long your cycle is to determine exactly your ovulation day. You may be missing it.

Good day!

they only thing i can tell you that sometime stress can put off or even stop your ovulation..it is possible that you ovulated late but if you can afford it get a Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor (e-bay they are cheeper) it will tell you when your about to ovulate
