He would not check my work. But when something wrong, he'll put the blame on you. I have worked for years and he has not even bothered to look what i am doing in the office and how i struggle to get puzzles solved. I know i am wasting my time here but I couldn't get other jobs! I am just an executive and I am doing more than i should.

Are you keeping tabs? You should document everything!!! The day will some when you are asked why you are so unhappy? If you really want to leave then, they best time to look for a job is while you have a job!
Best of luck to you!

I believe that there is a relationship issue involved here. You also need to check your mindset. You don't beleive that you have the best work, right now, and chances are that you are not giving your best. Maybe these are the things your manager has observed, and he doesn't want to waste his time on you.

I advise that you develop a positive attitude about your work. Even if it is temporary (after so many years), give it your best shot. Change your thinking that the manager is only interested in the things you do wrong.

Finally, show him a lot of love.

It's tough i have been there and mine was not just irresponsible he was an asshole from hell. The son of a whore even got me fired in the end.I was very upset when that happened but it was a blessing in the end,now i am my own boss running a successful bussiness. So don't worry the place you are working is not the only place in the world, there will be better oppurtunities.Put all your effort in finding another job don't give excuses.Once you have found one give him a piece of your mind.Good Luck!

Our job as an employee is to make our manager look good, regardless of his or her shortcomings. I know this answer will not be popular but it is true.
