Well I could say air, but nah that's just silly.
My computer is really important to me. Without it I couldn't work, communicate with long distance friends cheaply or find out why my Video Camera keeps giving me a C:32:34 error.
I freaken love Google!
As far as not being able to live though... I really don't need anything to keep me breathing you know. Except the obvious necessities. Yes, if my family were gone it would be tough.
However on a deeper and more selfish level, if I ever lost my freedom I would not want to live.

The freedom to speak what I feel, even if no one is listening.
The freedom to walk across the street or go to a foreign country.
The freedom to choose my own career.
The freedom to be myself.

That would absolutely devastate me. I would never survive prison or living in a suppressive country.
:o)

Water.
Something we take so much for granted in the west.
Why?
Because without it we die as many people do and suffer in poor countries.

Acid rain we have made in the west is polluting lakes and rivers around the world.

It is like the clean air we need to breath, without it, all the riches in the world and newest gadget wont help you.

I couldn't live without the freedom to be alone! I need time alone!
Just the thought of being in a situation where I was constantly surrounded by people terrifies me!

I could not live without a certain level of oxygen in the air and working vital organs, that is all.

My husband and kids are so wonderful that I wouldn't want to live without them.

As far as material things. I love my SUV and my hottub. I use both everyday and they make life a little bit better. Oh, and wine! Don't forget the wine!!!!

My sparkling sense of humour (!). There are times when you have to have a sense of humour to get through the day. Without the ability to find humour in virtually every situation, I'd be long gone!

My husband, he is my wind beneath my wings - if he goes I am going with him! We have enjoyed 39 years of happiness, still hold hands when out, especially on holiday, I could not imagine life without him.
