Girls have little value placed on them. They are there to cook, bear children, look after husband, entertain guests, and are basically "unclean" to the men of China. Boys are molded by their parents and expected to study, get good grades and land a decent, high paying job. You'd learn more by doing a google.com search rather than on here.
