1.CUBOID IS 76CMM LONG,50CM WIDE + 40CM HIGH,CALCULATE VOLUME.
2. JOHN IS TWICE AS OLD AS MARY. IF THE SUM OF THE SQUARES OF THEIR AGES IS 125. HOW OLD IS MARY.
3.GIVEN THAT n m h 2
LOG 10 - LOG 10 = 2LOG 10 . SHOW THAT N = MH
4.SIMPLIFY

Q1: Volume of a shape = length x breadth x height so do 76 x 40 x 40. Your answer is in cubic cms.
Q2: John is 10 and Mary is 5.
Q3: I have no idea what this means at all, sorry!
Q4: 2x-2 divided by 2x-2 is 1. Why is the -2 in the denomintor in brackets? Have you mis-typed?

sqr root((125)/3)X2) = johns age
sqr root of left over = mary
log10 - log10 = log1 not 2log10
is that (x^2-2)/(x^2-2) if it is the answer is one as they cancel each other out

answer 1. volume = length*width*height
vol = 76* 50 * 40 = 76 * 2000 = 152000 cm cube
