hey
for applying to universities, they sometimes ask for our cgpa on scale of 4

suppose I have a cgpa of 9.2 on scale of 10, how to convert it to the scale of 4?

sorry to have missed out an important info.

I know how to convert by using simple multiplication and div, but wanted to know if there was any other mechanism used by universities

I'm not sure since I've never seem a grade scale other than A=4.0 scale.... maybe the university has an answer on their website on how to answer this.... try looking at other colleges-- there has to be at least one that shows you what to do!

Good luck!

If you have to ask us to do a simple fraction problem for you, I wouldn't worry about the getting into college thing.

9.2/10 = x/4

4*9.2 = x*10

x = (4*9.2)/10
