even though it was originally designed for the missile systems throughout America and Europe, the Internet is probably the greatest invention ever, as it allows people from all over the world to communicate with each other at the click of a button, there's no limit to how many people an use it, you can buy things over the net, research anythign you want, catch news updates and even do your banking online with it.

The internet is a marvelous invention.

I hate to admit it, but I'll go with the internet.

To prove my point, when the great library in ancient times (sorry, I forget if it was greece, athens, atlantis...something like that) was destroyed, they say that it set mankind back 1000 years.
The collective amount of information gathered on the internet and available to anyone, anytime, and is beyond staggering.
