No judgement as we've all had this happen to us. Usually around this age too because we think they're ok then suddenly - womp! There they go.
Signs to look out for are: increased lethargy, vomitting, dilated pupils, unable to rouse, listlessness etc.
Your boy sounds like he's fine because he had a bit of a cry and now has stopped. If you're worried at all, go see the doc and they will check him out and reassure you.
My boy had a bad fall at about the same age and screamed for about 30mins then went to sleep. He did'n't have a lump but a flat spot on his forehead which I thought was weird but he's perfectly fine now. I rang the hospital and they told me what to look out for. I don't know where you are but in Australia we have a couple of phone numbers for 24hr help.

in case you have your mattress on the floor, as cautioned for defense, then she is probably superb. in any different case, do take her to the scientific institution to be regarded at. in any different case, in case you wait, you will properly be accused of youngster forget, regardless of if there is not any scientific care required. This got here approximately in MN. interior the case in MN, the mummy in the back of schedule bringing the toddler in for some hours with the aid of fact the toddler looked superb after the fall and actually everyone interior the relatives had the flu. She assumed the toddler did besides. whilst she observed the toddler being torpid, she delivered the toddler in to the ER later that day. sure, it became later discovered that the toddler had a ideas bleed. The medical doctors did NO scientific care different than make certain that the toddler had a ideas bleed. yet she became tried and convicted. Ugggh... It became a choose attempting to make this lady an occasion particularly than accepting that this became an twist of fate.

i think this happens to everyone. if he cried on impact thats a good sign. Is the bed at the point he fell taller then him by more then an inch? if so you should take him to get looked at. but im sure he will be fine. Check his pupils is one more dialated then the other ? thats also not a good sign. Check for a lump, as long as its not near his temple he should be just fine. Im sure he will be ok like i said this happens to moms all the time one way or the other. good luck. and congrats on the baby.

If he cried and then stopped I wouldn't worry. Keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't have any unusual symptoms like less balance or vomitting and he should be fine.
And all babies do it at some point I'm surprised you made it to 9 months! ;-) Maybe my baby is more of a daredevil.

It is great that he cried and then was easily comforted. When he is happy, try gently but firmly squeezing down each of his limbs. He will cry if anything is broken while you squeeze that area. You might want to make sure that his pupils dilate and contract with a flashlight. This happens to everyone at least once, don't beat yourself up over it.
Good luck.

It depends on how high the bed is. Most babies will do this so it's no cause for you to worry too much. If the bed is higher then he is then you should get him checked at by a doctor. For now if he is not acting unusual and if he didn't fall on his head then he should be just fine.

What part of him hit the floor first? Also, is the floor hardwood, carpeted, cement? If his head hit a hardwood or cement floor, you probably should take him to the doctor to make sure there's no concussion. Check whatever he landed on for bruising and/or swelling. Keep an eye on him and if it seems that some part of his anatomy - arm, leg, side where he landed - is bothering him or restricting his normal movement take him to the doctor just to be safe. If he landed on his diapered bum there's probably nothing to worry about - he just scared himself (and you).
Kids that age can move surprisingly fast (especially when you don't want them to) - my daughter jumped off the changing table once; scared me half to death!

1) First u have to check whether there's pain in his body.
2) Then, if there is, take him to the doctor.
3) I would worry so much if the baby wouldn't stop crying.
Peace u later................

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It was probably the initial shock of the fall that hurt / scared him more than the actual hit! Just cuddle him and he should be fine.

Oh my god! Please take him to his doctor, just to check him up. Falls like that, seem to be very dangerous for babies from newborn to 1 year old.
