Can you get a new released movies on VHS ?

Just curious !
And when was the date that movie sales stated in DVD's ?

The industry is in the process of phasing out VHS. Honestly, I haven't seen any tapes come into my store in over three months, but we still have some older, more popular new release movies that have VHS right next to the DVD.

My video stores that i go to has new releases in dvds and vhs ofcourse for the people who dont have a dvd player....
