I would actually say both. Give the children the Scooby doo card and the teachers get the crafted cards because they will appreciate it more.

Looking better should not be the reason for giving, it should be what comes from the heart and what your budget can afford.
Personally, if you are giving to the entire class A. I really don't think that the children would appreciate B. the Tony crafted card for the worth that Adults or older chidren attach to it. Perhaps their best freinds in class desrve this card, but not the entire class.
Why not a compromise...
C. Have them draw up a Christmas card, have it color copied for the amount of people in the class, and have them sign each card personally.

I like the answer that someone else already said. Scooby Doo cards for the kids and the handcrafted cards for the teachers. They will appreciate the effort where the kids from the class won't.
By the way, I think it is nice that you are doing anything at all, a lot of people don't these days. Kudos to you for thinking of your kids' classmates/teachers.

A. It's nice and not a whole lot of trouble. There's too many other things to do at that time of year than to be trying to make cards for 2 classes & teachers.

I would say B this will make your kids part of it. good for you pencils are a good idea. I usually buy a box of 100 with assorted designs for the class and I order a few book for the class through the school book club.

I think B would be better, but does it really matter because most people will just rip off the pencil and throw away the card anyways...

Either is nice but to make it seem more like it is from your children I would do the craft.

A. Save those handmade objects for family members who will cherish them. All that hard work you put into homemade cards will be thrown away.
