When I bought the car it carfax was clear but after 7 months I wanted to sell it. One of the buyer called me ask about the fram damage. I took the car to a fram shop and had it checked out and the shop said it fine. What can I do to fix or update the carfax report.

It is not possible for a frame inspection PROVE that the frame was NEVER damaged. So the frame could have (and most likely was) damaged in the past and repaired. Since Carfax has a record of that prior inspection - they are not going to remove that record.

Visit www.carfax.com/help and enter a request to have data added to the report. If you send them the inspection paperwork they will add a record stating that the frame was inspected on date X and is now within specifications.

Car Fax has made mistakes in the past.
I bought a car that they said had 100,000 miles on it.
The dealer approached them and they said they would fix it. The people had receipts of all repairs and mileage was documented.

I gather their information but don't think they have the skinny on all of it.

The frame can be fixed, and in some cases replaced. It might of had frame damage at one time, but it was fixed.
