cleaning out grandparents house and came across grandpa's stamp collection, stamps ranging from 3cents to 10 cent stamps in very good condition. I would like to know more about them, as I have inherited these wonderful items

Take a look at http://www.virtualstampclub.com/inherit.html for general information about disposing of stamp collections. Is the Buffalo Bill Cody stamp 16c with a reddish-brown picture on a white background? Id so, it is not particularly valuable - 15c for postage is about it - but it is beautifully engraved and worth saving as a work of art.

Stamp collecting is a great hobby! There is a lot of information available at the site of the American Philatelic Society, http://www.stamps.org . You can find the location of stamp dealers, stamp exhibitions, etc, there. If you have questions about a specific stamp or just want to find what stamp collectors talk about, try the message board at http://www.virtualstampclub.com - you have to register to post messages, but it's free.
