Sure. When done washing and rinsing (do not wring) roll it in a towel walk on towel, sit on towel, whatever to remove excess water, then lay flat to dry.

Yes... Use baby laundry soap dreft is my favorite...

Gently roll into towel and press to remove excess water.. after washing and rinsing..

You will need to block the sweater for drying so it keeps it's shape.. Lay sweater on a towel and make sure it's not stretched at any point just make it as close to the shape you want it to be as possible allow to dry.. (To speed drying you can stretch the towel across a clothes line marking sure its pinned very tight to allow air flow all around... then place sweater on it... )
