I hadn't heard anything like that either. Steve has been known to take very good care of himself - no smoke , no drink , no drugs - . If you're wondering cause you (we) haven't heard anything about him it's probably cause theres no news. He's Probably still doing G3, and probably a million other recording projects , He'll be popping up with something new any day.

I haven't heard he was sick.
couldn't find anything online either.
I'm sure he's fine.
as a matter of fact I think he's on tour with Satriani.
