Because thats usually how the deceased communicate is through dreams. It happened to me several times, they couldn't rest in peace because of unfinished business.

I'm asking about your experience if you had any. I'm talking about while you were sleeping and dreamt of deceased people.

Oh my! In my last year of school, my best friend died of cancer. I never got to say goodbye. I dreamt of her many times. I would be so scared, because in my dreams I knew she was dead and that I was dreaming - really spooky. Once I "faced her" and said goodbye, I was fine. I still dream of her when I'm going through a difficult time with someone and having trouble letting go. I think she is an angel to me, somehow.

I eventually gathered I was being "Communicated with" when my last grandma died. Everyone who passed on, I dreamt of. It was always saying goodbye, and sometimes getting advice. And I Always knew I was dreaming.. very strange indeed. I wonder if I asked before I went to sleep, if they could give me a couple of answers about some aspects of my life .... hmmmmmmmm... nah - Rest in Peace, I say. May God have mercy on my soul one day when I go, that I don't have to come back and sort through yesterday's relationship laundry!

I dream of my Mother, had a dream a week before Mom passed 2 years ago that my Father had come back for her. A week later my Mom passed away looking at the foot of her bed. I still cry when I dream of her because I feel so alone now without her to really talk to. I wish I could still hold her hand and comb her hair, she was 70.

In chinese beliefs, we believe that on the 7th day that someone who's close to you is deceased, he'll come into your dreams.

I once had this experience when my dear granny passed on, it was like real as the scenes were exactly my bedroom at night and she was just standing there...looking at me. I was shocked and flabbergasted at first and no words could come out of my mouth..Finally i braved my courage and asked her "nanny..arent you dead yet?", and she
replied to me in a very comforting tone "no i didn't, don't be worried or sad", and smiled at me. I woke up in the morning feeling that it was real and i was kinda upset but not really scared. The other time was in the 49th day when she was dead, and it's around the same thing and thats also in our chinese belief!

The Lakota belive (as I was taught) that answers come in dreams and that through our dreams we are able to communicate with our ancestors. I know from personal experience that when I have been struggling with something or just need comforting, my father usually comes in my dreams (he crossed over several years ago) and while I don't always conciously remember the answers, I always wake up knowing we have spoken. The same goes for my first teacher and guide. The only one that I have not been able to locate is my fiancee who passed away in September - very frusterating.

The reason ghosts become ghosts is because they went to hell and their spirit is roaming the earth for all eternity. They have no unfinished business. Their soul is in hell and their spriit is roaming the earth for all eternity

All the time, I have many who have passed on before me and I am a spiritual person anyway, so I may be more sensitive to that medium.
