It is called "backward masking" and there are many songs which have it. I had a book about it one time and it seems that the song "Hotel California" which refers to the first Stanic Church in America has it, as well as some of the old Beetles songs.

I don't know about Led Zepplin but there is such thing as backtracking (some of it satanic- some harmless) on some music recordings.

I heard a guy speaking about it once and he played the tapes backwards for us all to hear. One of the tracks was a really sweet ballad (can't remember who sang it) but played backwards it said 'son of satan...' over and over again.
Flat Bottomed Girl by queen played backwards says 'it's fun to smoke marijuana'. I heard both of these so I know it's true.

ELO purposely put backward messages in some of their music but you can hear it when you play it forwards. I played it backwards to see what it said. - In the track Fire from on High it says 'the record is reversable but time isn't ...turn back... turn back ... turn back'.

I don't know it it is used nowadays. Maybe they could put backtracking on pop music saying, recycle... recycle ... recycle -- lol

I heard this one at college. Someone was supposed to have played Led Zep 4 backwards on the turntable. It said stop playing this backwards you fool you'll ruin the vinyl! It's a myth but somehow keeps cropping up.

Another myth I'm afraid just like years ago it was said that on a song of the Beatles, if heard backwards, could be heard the car accident killing Macca. Can you imagine Macca being a fake .. lol
