Some people do, but I know what matters most in my life. It's the things you can't replace - your kids, family and friends. Of course, good health is great too.

I think that would go for the rich people cause all they care about is always having something, even though they might not even use them and even throw away practically new things as for poor people they wouldn't care how old a mattress is or that it is on the floor as long as they have the person they love next to them. I am not saying rich people do not love I am just saying that they care a lot about the material things as well. Sorry if i sound like a racist b&%ch but, this is just my opinion.

Sure seems that way don't it. The up coming election will more then answer your question if people go back to vote for some of the rum-dumb professional politicians that haven't done a thing for anyone but them selves. With all the crying I've been reading here in Q&A it will be interesting to see how many mistakes are made....again.

In essence , yes. However, we musn't blame ourselves. The producers of these material products are professionals at manipulating the consumerist part of all of us, and at the end of the day we are all human and every single one of us is a target for the material world.

Yes, we make our lives so complicated with fake deadlines and materialistic crap that we fail to see the amazing "simple" things that life hands us. It's the reason why most of us take things for granted until they are gone.

many am, I am not. I just heard a story at an AA meeting yesterday. One of my best friends. At her bottom, she sat in her apartment with all her "things", and that was ALL she had. Not cool.
