It's a perverse pleasure - you can destroy something that has not much intrinsic value and is PC to do! I like the popping sound, too! POP POP POP...I'm gonna find me some now....

Sorry they deleted your question, I thought it was a fun question, we have bubble wrap at work and people pop the bubbles for relief, I hope that does not sound weird, but that is why they do it.

It is addicting. My 4 year old daughter take karate and one of the games is walking across bubble wrap and trying not to pop the bubbles. Then they walk across again. stomping to break the most bubbles. It's their favorite game ever.

because its a sense of power and the trill of the noise that the popping bubble makes its really fun
it messes with many senses:
touch-the pooping feeling beneath your grasp
hear- the noise of the exploding bubble
mind-the popping joy
sight-the bubble wrap full than depleted

there is just something about bubble wrap that makes you not able to help yourself from not playing, pressing or busting it. :))
If I had bubble wrap now I'd be playing with it instead of doing this!

The bubbles are filled with a narcotic gas that has an affect like catnip does to cats. People just can't help themselves ;)

first of all, why would they delete your question? second of all chexmix said pooping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when I was little i would see it somewhere and pop it because I knew I wasn't supposed to. So now I do it because I can't get yelled at for it.
